Privacy Policy

PlayTennisMarin runs recreational tennis leagues in Marin County, California. This policy describes what information we collect — through the PlayTennisMarin app and website — and how we use it. Questions? Email info@playtennismarin.com.

Information we collect

We only collect what you type into the app or website:

• When you enroll in a league: your full name, email address, cell phone number, city, level of play, division, the session you're joining, and (optionally) how you heard about us.
• When you report a match score: the players' names, the score, and any notes you add.

There are no user accounts and no login — in the app or on the website. Neither ever accesses your device's location (no GPS, no Location Services); the only location information we have is the city you type into the enrollment form. There are no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind, and we do not use cookies.

Doubles partner information

If you enroll with a doubles partner, you give us your partner's name, email address, phone number, and city. We use that information for one purpose: sending your partner a single email about the enrollment. This email is either a confirmation or a request for their share of the fee. If you received one of those emails, that is how we got your contact information.

Payments

Card and Apple Pay payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment details go directly from your device to Stripe and never touch our servers. Your enrollment details (name, contact info, city, and league selections) accompany the payment record in Stripe so we can match your payment to your enrollment.

Venmo and Zelle payments happen entirely inside those apps, and are not affiliated with us.

Service providers

We use a small number of services to run the league. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — delivers our confirmation and notification emails.
• Sentry — error reports when something breaks in the app or on our server; we deliberately do not attach personal information to them.

What we don't do

We never sell your information. We never share it for advertising. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Data retention and your choices

We keep enrollment and score information as long as we need it to run our leagues. You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you by emailing info@playtennismarin.com.

Children's privacy

The app and website are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll post the updated version at this address with a new effective date.
